    Why AK’s Peak Fitness for my fitness needs?
    At AK’s Peak Fitness, you will have a different experience from a typical gym. You will feel like you are part of a team and become bonded as a close-knit group that encourages you to maximize your fitness level and support and encourage other members of your class. 

    What Is a typical day at AK’s Peak Fitness?
    No training day at AK’s Peak Fitness is the same. We like to change up your workout which prevents boredom and maximizes your workout goals and results. No repeat or routine workouts! You can expect stretching, running, kickboxing, circuit training, jumping jacks, pushups, jump roping, sit-ups, abdominal work, core training, agility drills and basically, a lot of sweat! 

    What does my registration fee Get me at AK’s Peak Fitness? 
    Your registration fee at AK's Peak Fitness allows you to attend class 6 days a week for 4 weeks. You will also receive pre and post testing, a t-shirt, hand wrap, and entry into any potential promotional contests that maybe going on during your session.  

    What kind of people go to AK’s Peak Fitness?
    People just like you! AK’s Peak Fitness is designed for all fitness levels.. You do not have to be an athlete or physically fit to start. We establish a baseline for you and set goals and monitor you throughout your time with us. We have a range of clients, from those who have never worked out to those who are marathon runners. Everyone has a challenging personalized training program, has individualized goals, and is pushed at his/her own level and potential. 

    What kind of results can I expect?
    You will experience a range of healthy benefits such as weight loss, decrease in clothes size, reduction in body fat, increase in strength, abundance of confidence, team building and camaraderie with fellow clients, perseverance of physical and mental challenges and realization of personal goals. 

    How soon will I see results?
    Everyone is different with different types of bodies. Some can see improvements in performance in as little time as 1 week. Many see visual improvements in 3 weeks, depending on your effort level and maintaining a healthy diet. It is very common to see clients lose weight and decrease in size when consistently attending AK’s Peak Fitness. 

    What if I have a specific injury (i.e. bad knees or back) or can't perform a certain exercise?
    We will provide modified workouts that are personalized for you as alternatives to strengthen your body and still give you the most intense workout you can have. 

    What other benefits does AK’s Peak Fitness provide besides an intense workout?
    You will enjoy the combination of personal attention and social interaction from class. Also, people who exercise regularly are happier, healthier. and live longer. Exercise helps prevent heart disease, diabetes, high blood pressure, stroke, arthritis, and cancer. Exercise has also proven to reduce stress, anxiety and depression, and increase energy and stamina. 

    Will I be sore?
    Most people feel some soreness after the first few days. It gets better as time goes on. 

    Will you yell at us?
    Yes, there will be yelling involved, but only in a motivating and healthy manner. We don't abuse, harass or degrade, just positive reinforcement and encouragement and some good jokes and fun. 

    What do I need to bring to boot camp?
    You should bring water, hand towel (if you sweat a lot), and kickboxing gloves (if you choose). We recommend workout pants/shorts and t-shirt/tank and running/athletic shoes. 

    What about inclement weather?
    It doesn't matter. It's an indoor fitness class which is open all year round.

    May I attend another class time other than the one I originally registered for?
    Yes, you can.  You cannot however, attend more than one class per day.
