    The Fitness Commitment Delivers Results

    The decision to join AK's Peak Fitness, was a decision that changed my life. I knew it wouldn't be easy, but I knew that I couldn't continue going in the direction I had been for so long. I started the program weighing the most that I had ever weighed in my life, and was constantly tired.

    Week one I remember wondering what I had gotten myself into, but at the end of the day I found myself looking forward to the next workout. This is the first program that I have done that I don't wake up in the morning dreading.. When I missed a workout I found myself upset because I felt like I had missed out.

    When Jim told me my results on the last day of week 5, it was an overwhelming feeling. I had lost more inches and weight and inches than I ever thought possible. I walked out of the gym that day with a sense of pride, I found the energy that had been lost for so long, changed my lifestyle, and made new friends. Everyday, I wake up thankful for a new day and make it my mission to talk to at least one person about AK's Peak Fitness. I believe in this program and it doesn't matter what your fitness level, you can benefit!

    I started this class over-weight with bad knees.  I wasn’t sure how I would progress or even if I could do the class.  I was pleasantly surprised.  The exercise program was not complicated.  Every day was different and it kept my interest.  I had a partial knee replacement and can now do a lot of things that I couldn’t before.  Squat down, bend over, and go up and down stairs with ease.  I have gained more flexibility and a better range of motion.  None of the moves were complicated in the class and were very well explained.  If there was absolutely one thing I could not do an alternative movement was suggested to help me keep going in class.  I felt like I belonged and that I could do as well as everyone else.  The “no one is left behind” rule applied.  I have more energy than I have had in a long time.  At the completion of class I had lost a bunch of weight, reduced my body fat, lost inches and am more flexible and can breath easier than I have in a long time.  Good luck to anyone who does this class.  It’s great and I’m looking forward to the next session.

    Before I started the class at PeAK fitness, I would have considered myself a walker.  Who would have thought I would get up at 4:30am for a 5am workout?  Well, I did and looked forward to the new work out routines each day.  Jim’s encouragement kept me motivated.
       
    I had high expectations for myself to loss a lot of weight, but I now realize I didn’t put all the pounds on in 5 weeks.  To date, I have lost 6lbs, 6’5’’ and 5.8% body fat.  I feel better about myself and have more energy.  Instead of walking 2 miles daily, I am now jogging a mile.  I am looking forward to the next 5 weeks.
